Border Morris comes from the borders of Wales and England.  It is characterised by its vigorous style with clashing sticks and swirling rag coats.  Top hats are worn and individually decorated according to the owner's preference, although flowers and feathers are typical.

Border Morris is Ryknild Rabble's primary form of dance. Some of our dances are named after the village where they originated, such as Brimfield or Upton on Severn. We also have dances we have developed ourselves that are named to reflect local links, such as Dr Johnson's Revenge and Titanic.
